Everyone on the photo has made this project possible.
Donation of the 150 Bikes now arrived in the Port of Durban, now traveling another 200 miles to Maseru capital of Lesotho. The bikes will be distributed around the mountain villages of Lesotho, helping young students to attend schools and places of work.
This has all been made possible by Merseyside Police who donated the bikes to Liverpool Heartbeat. The Bike Works in Skelmersdale who maintained them to road worthy standed. Tri-4- Life SPITFIREHEART TEAM who competed in the Lesotho Sky Mountain Bike Challenge and met lots of the young people who will benefit from the bikes. Rotary Clubs who will help oversee the distribution of the bikes.
A thank you to New Start for the loan of wagon and staff to transport the majority of bikes to the Bike Works in Skelmersdale, also to Terry's Timber providing all the plywood to make another level platform to store bikes safely inside the container.
